Kyiv Post is proud to introduce a new exclusive and hard hitting series of events that will feature a full hour of engaging discussions and questions with direct and to the point answers.
The inaugural Straight Talk session entitled “Pressure on Business” will focus on the core challenges that businesses in Ukraine are facing today.
Pressure on Business
Almost a year ago, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Volodymyr Groysman delivered a pledge to remove all obstacles that would hinder the development of Ukrainian business by continuing to carry out deregulation and the removal of unjustified inspections and permits so that businesses would be able develop more freely in order to foster the creation of employment. Yet, to this date, businesses in Ukraine are claiming to still feel the pressures from the fiscal authorities and law enforcement agencies.
The goal of STRAIGTH TALK is to either confirm or dispel public perceptions of pressure on business and to demonstrate if and where it has improved.
During the STRAIGHT TALK event, we will investigate and shed light on how easy or difficult it is for local and international business to run their companies when complying with regulations.
The event will strive to help alleviate the miscommunications between government and businesses in order to bring a clearer understanding to the audience on how they can move forward by using realistic and available tools to their businesses.
